The light of Lefkara – Watercolour painting by Savva

This is just one little corner of the village of Lefkara. The village it’self dates as far back as 1134 but what I loved about this corner is that at the other side of the arch you can still see the old town water outlet where the villagers used to get their daily supply of water. I painted this early this morning just when the light was coming through the narrow streets and the place just looked amazing. I hope you like the painting and look forward to hearing from you all.

Sydney Town Hall and QVB in Watercolour

It has been a while since I have posted something new.  Surgery and health took it’s toll this time. Anyway it was a gorgeous morning here in Sydney today, and standing at this magical place taking it all in was worth everything. Even though the warm breeze was drying out the paper far too quickly, the end result is not too far from what I envisioned it to be. I hope you like this watercolour painting. Drop me a line if you have the time, I would love to hear from you.
